Easter Wood Blocks and Weekend Wrapup

I made the cutest blocks this weekend!  I worked on blocks for St. Patricks Day, Easter, Birthdays and Family.  The Easter and Family blocks are all finished and I just love how they turned out.  I am going to show off the Easter blocks today and the Family ones tomorrow.

I can't wait until it gets closer to Easter so I can put these out on my mantle.

So cute if I do say so myself!  Also while I was working on my Easter blocks Miss Adison was cutting out a decorating a Snowman.  She begged me to put a picture on here of her cute little snowman - she even took the picture of it herself.

I love that we can do crafts together and I know she loves it too.

My Easter blocks can also be found in my Etsy shop.
Now for my Weekend Wrapup.  I usually like to put this out there on Saturdays but I was out of town and never found a moment to get on my laptop.  So here is what happened around here this week:

Last weekend I went on a fun Scrapbook weekend with my girlfriends.
My easy peasy menu for the week was posted on Monday.
I gave a tutorial on  spraypainting a glass vase - it is so easy!

We then had a family reunion on my husbands side of the family that has kept me busy all week.  it was a tons of fun, but I am so ready to sit home and relax and watch the Academy Awards tonight.

How was your week?

  1. Awww so cool! Craft time can be soo much fun! I had my niece for school vacation, and we went to the Boston Museum of Science; that was a lot of fun! Can't wait to see her again in the summer, I've already started putting crafty stuff up in a bag so we have lots to do. I'm hoping to learn how to make the headbands with the different flowers attached! ^.^
We also like to make an ant farm using an empty mayo jar! They are so cool to watch!

    1. Thanks Samantha! I just love crafting, it helps me release my stress:) Sounds like the stuff you did with your neice was fun! I have never done the ant farm with an empty mayo jar - I bet my kids would love that. I will have to check it out.
