These Halloween masks were so fun to make and I am excited to share the tutorial with you today!!
Last week when my daughter and I were at Gardner Village there was a shop that had Halloween masks and Adison loved them. It took me forever to pull her away from them and she kept wanting me to take her picture with them
When I saw how much she loved them I knew I wanted to make some at home. This is where two of my most favorite products come in handy! My Cricut machine and some of my favorite Pebbles Halloween scrapbook paper!
The Monster Bash cartridge has some cute Halloween masks on it!
Aren't all of those images so fun! Let me show you how I made our masks
Let's Get Started
First you need to figure how big you want your masks to be. I decided to make mine 8.5 inches wide. Next open up your Cricut Craft Room (this program is free). Find the images on the Monster Bash cartridge and pick the ones you want - Aren't they so fun!
I think the next part was the hardest - choosing the paper I wanted to cut them on. I used the the Pebbles Thirty-One Halloween line and American Crafts glitter tape.
Once I decided the paper I wanted I made sure each mask was positioned on the mat one at a time at the right size that I wanted and I cut them out. I did cut out a "trial" mask first on a regular piece of paper to make sure it was the right size.
On one mask I added black ribbon to tie the mask on - the others I used wood kabob sticks that I covered in black glitter tape (you could paint them black if you don't have black glitter tape) Then I taped them onto the masks. On each mask I added a little riboon (tied to the stick), I also embellished the orange mask with black rhinestones - I think they all turned out so cute!
When Adison saw them she just loved them!!
Even Kayden had fun trying them on!
I know the kids loved them because I had to leave for a few hours and when I came back to take more pictures I couldn't find them - I finally found them in a few bedrooms!
